Our clinics provide reproductive health services for people of all ages, and we prioritize services for young people in a nonjudgmental, supportive atmosphere. Our objective is to help clients make informed reproductive health decisions that will work for them. Our education resources include professional staff and well-trained volunteers, audio-visual and written resource materials, demonstration models and products, and a comprehensive, informed consent process.
To ensure our clients receive excellent service, we measure accountability and outcomes using a continuous quality improvement process. All clinics follow the policies and guidelines detailed in our Medical Standards and Guidelines. These guidelines are a benchmark in reproductive health care for our province, and the BC government has recommended that all public health and youth clinics should have a copy of these standards available.
