PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Our Vancouver Clinic is now open. To ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and clinicians, we will be pre-screening for COVID via a telephone call to our clinic phone (604 875 3299), switched on during clinic hours only). Please bring a cell phone to your appointment for this assessment. Do not enter the clinic until you have been screened by phone. All services will be initiated via telephone assessments.

  • As COVID-19 related restrictions shift and change, we are resuming in-clinic services on a case by case basis. Please do not attend our clinic if you are ill, have flu-like symptoms, or have any COVID-19 symptoms.
  • All patients will be pre-screened for COVID.
  • Patients are asked to wear a mask to their appointment if possible.
  • In order to maintain the safest environments for our staff and patients, we will still offer care via telephone assessment as a first choice for decreasing asymptomatic COVID transmission risk. Patients who require to be seen in the clinic will still be assessed via phone first.
  • Whenever possible patients should attend appointments alone

Our clinic is appointment only for all services.

Since clinic hours may suddenly change, please check back here regularly for updates.
For non-essential services, please call (1-800-739-7367) or email Sex Sense Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This clinic is located at the Women’s Health Centre at the B.C. Women’s Hospital and may be challenging to find.

If you are walking, biking, or taking transit to the clinic: We recommend you use the Heather St and 29th Ave. entrance (entrance #77). Follow the driveway. You will see an overhanging walkway on your right, with a sign on it that says Women’s Health Centre. Enter the building through the sliding doors. Once inside the building turn to the right, and walk past the elevators and through the wooden doors.

If you are driving to the clinic: Please note the Heather St entrance is permanently closed to motor vehicle traffic. Please enter the hospital campus via the Oak Street, Willow Street, or West 28th entrances and follow the ring road towards the Women’s Health Centre. Please note that traffic on the ring road is one-way, flowing counter-clockwise. Please give yourself plenty of time to find a parking spot, purchase a ticket, and walk to your appointment.
