Clinic Attendance

Do you have a cough, runny nose, sore throat?

While you probably have a common cold and not COVID-19, we will, unfortunately, have to ask you not to visit our clinic or office while experiencing symptoms. Instead, please call us and we will do our best to assess how we can meet your needs by phone:
Provincial Office 604-731-4252
Sex Sense 1-800-739-7367

At this point our clinics are remaining open. All of our clinics already follow best practices in universal precautions and maintaining a clean clinic. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates or changes to our services on both social media and our website.

We want to encourage you to continue to take precautions to avoid contracting COVID-19, the flu, colds, or any other communicable infections; wash your hands often, cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, avoid others who are feeling ill, and stay home if you are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms, especially if you have a sore throat, cough, or fever. For more information visit the BCCDC information page here.

As a reminder to wash your hands, here’s one of our favourite songs, put into handwashing by WashYourLyrics where you can create your own version!

Note: our Sex Sense team will not under any circumstances be able to provide medical services over the phone as our clinic staff would, nor are they able to provide a diagnosis over the phone. They *will* be able to help you get in touch with a clinic, provide resources, and answer sexual health questions.
