The 8th Contraception & Abortion in BC meeting:
Experience, Guiding Research, Guiding Care

Registration is now open. This year we are excited to provide a hybrid conference with in person and online participation options!

BC Women’s Hospital, the Contraception and Abortion Research Team (CART), and Options for Sexual Health are pleased to invite you to a provincial family planning services meeting focusing on abortion and contraception care in BC.

Join us for a full day of family planning updates and reconnect with colleagues. Sessions will enable participants to learn the latest in research and policy updates, as well as challenges and opportunities in our healthcare system. Interactive discussions will support our collective efforts to improve access to abortion and contraception through optimal practice, policy, and research.

Date: Friday, March 8th, 2024

Time: 8:00am to 4:30pm Pacific Time.

Location: In Person: a central location in downtown Vancouver (registrants will be provided with the location closer to the date). Online/Virtual: participate from home!

Registration: Free. In person participation will be limited to 80 people. Virtual participation is unlimited.

Early Bird* Registration: December 15th, 2023

The Division of Continuing Professional Development, University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Continuing Medical Education Accreditation Committee (CACME) to provide CPD credits for physicians. Attendees will include health professionals, staff, and health system leaders engaged in family planning practice and research in British Columbia, Canada. We may contact you to request a professional reference who can confirm that you have a demonstrated interest in advancing family planning research, policy, and/or practice in BC.
