The 6th Contraception & Abortion in BC meeting:
Experience, Guiding Research, Guiding Care

This year’s “Contraception and Abortion in BC” meeting will be held on March 6th, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Location: Vancouver, BC (Exact location will be provided upon acceptance of your registration request)

Registration Fee:  $50 for Physicians, no charge for non-physicians

This meeting will be a unique opportunity to keep you informed about the latest contraception technologies and abortion services in BC.  We will discuss what you need to know about the upcoming implementation of subdermal implants, a contraception option soon to be available in BC. You will be updated with the latest progress on mifepristone services in BC and be introduced to some new resources such as the Complex Contraception Clinic Service at BC Women’s. The day will be filled with relevant contraception and abortion topics to keep you engaged – Don’t miss out!

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada. You may claim a maximum of 6.5 hours.

Special Notes:

Due to safety concerns, only those who have been accepted for registration will be allowed into the meeting venue.  No walk-ins will be permitted for the conference.

If you are a physician working in a community that qualifies but does not have remaining resources through your remaining Rural Practice Subsidary Agreement (RSA) to attend the meeting, you are encouraged to contact the REAP program.
