There are a number of procedures that you can do or have done by your doctor that help early detection of possible reproductive health problems.
- annual pelvic exam (including a Pap smear)
- mammograms (if you are over 40 years old)
- monthly vulvar self-exam
- Testicular Self Exam (TSE)
- Breast Self Exam (BSE)
Although breast cancer is rare in men, it is a good idea to have your health provider examine the breast and nipple area on a regular basis as well.
