If you are 16 - 26 years old, you may be eligible to join a study on a new vaccine for HPV. HPV is the virus that can cause cervical cancer in women. UBC Research Department & Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute are conducting this study to determine if a new vaccine will be similiar to the currently available vaccine in preventing HPV infection or the development of Cervical Cancer.
All subjects will receive the equivalent of the current vaccine and must meet certain eligibility requirements.
